are encouraged to be active member
of this scheme. Both special and regular camps are organised as per
schedule. Volunteers, under the able guidance of N.S.S. Coordinator,
Principal and Programme Officer take active part in social work connnected
with several rural development, health, tree-plantation etc.They are
also encouraged to participate in quizzes and debates etc. on national
andinterntional issues to create an interes in bettering the environment.
Personality development through community work is an important and
vital part of this scheme.
Volunteers are selected for 120 hrs. regular activity every year and
out of these 50 students are chosen to participate in 10-day special
